ALABAMA

Southern Property Rights Council: formed by a broad coalition of concerned fiscally conservative property rights advocates who believe that every American possesses the right to use solar energy to provide for the energy needs of their family and businesses using the free resources of the sun.

ARKANSAS

Golden Bridge LLC: formed in September 2015 to empower landowners affected by Clean Line Energy Partner's proposed Plains & Eastern Clean Line. The founding members: landowners on the preferred and alternate routes, neighboring landowners, and allies who simply object to the corporate use of eminent domain, wanted to create an organization to pool our strength and obtain the best possible outcome in this situation.

LOUISIANA

Atchafalaya Basinkeeper: At the onset, ABK set out to save Louisiana's coastal cypress forests from ongoing destruction by the cypress mulch industry. After working as a commercial fisherman for 16 years, Dean witnessed first-hand the systematic destruction of the Basin at the hands of regulators and private interests. Since its inception, Basinkeeper has worked to patrol and advocate for the Basin through education, monitoring and enforcement.

Halt PennEast / Homeowners Against Land Taking:  A 501(c)(4) social welfare organization formed and operated by volunteer homeowners, farmers, business people, and residents along the proposed PennEast pipeline route. The overall mission of HALT-PennEast is to educate, advocate and litigate for homeowners directly impacted by the proposed PennEast pipeline to prevent unlawful and inappropriate condemnation and confiscation of private land

Resist Spectra: Resist Spectra is the direct action sect of  Stop The Algonquin Pipeline (SAPE) campaign against Spectra/Enbridge's fracked gas pipeline 105 feet away from critical infrastructure at Indian Point Nuclear Power Plant since 2014 in New York State.

Stop the Algonquin Pipeline Expansion (SAPE): A grassroots organization with a mission to educate our fellow citizens and elected officials about the negative impacts associated with Spectra Energy Corporation’s Algonquin Incremental Market (AIM) Project. SAPE opposes the AIM gas expansion project because it may exacerbate climate change, endanger our safety and quality of life, contaminate water, air and soil, cause harm to domestic animals and wildlife, and threaten farmland and property values.

OHIO

Ohio River Citizens’ Alliance: a multi-state alliance of grassroots groups in the Ohio River Basin. We have organized to protect our watersheds as they flow into the Ohio River. Our primary goal is to be prepared to react quickly in responding to threats of all types to our precious water supply, especially fossil fuel energy and the waste stream it produces.

Athens County Fracking Action Network: a group of citizens and landowners who have come together over our concern with the potential impacts associated with horizontal hydraulic fracturing. We’re known as Athens County Fracking Action Network. Our mission is to work for the safety, economic interest, and quality of life for Athens County.

NO Nexus Pipeline in Michigan and Ohio: Along with sharing information this grassroots movement is creating an online community that will assist in stopping construction of the Nexus pipeline.

Ohioans Against Pipelines For Export: Three pipeline companies are planning to cross Ohio to send fracked gas from the shale fields to the Dawn Hub in Canada for liquefaction and exporting.

Appalachia Resist!:  We are residents of Athens and Meigs Counties who have come together to oppose fracking, injection wells, and the barging of frack waste on the Ohio River.

OREGON

Oregonians in Action:  A statewide, non-profit organization devoted solely to fighting for property rights and against excessive land use regulations. It works for sensible, fair and flexible land-use regulations and to protect property rights.

  • The Oregonians In Action Legal Center was established as a separate IRS 501(c)(3) corporation to provide legal services without charge in test-case litigation in land-use/property rights cases.
  • The Oregonians In Action Education Center is another separate IRS 501(c)(3) corporation which is engaged in educational efforts relating to land-use regulations and property rights. From time to time, separate political action committees (PACs) have been formed to raise and expend funds for candidates for elective office and for support of or opposition to ballot measures.

Clean Air Council: As natural gas companies continue to propose infrastructure expansions throughout Pennsylvania and the Eastern Seaboard, Clean Air Council remains steadily committed to supporting impacted communities in their struggles for a clean and healthy environment.

Berks Gas Truth: Natural gas drilling of shale formations threatens Pennsylvania’s natural resources, the health and well-being of its citizens, and its scenic beauty. Berks Gas Truth is a grassroots citizens’ group fighting to bring an end to unconventional natural gas drilling in Pennsylvania.

Lancaster Against Pipelines: a grass roots coalition of county residents in Lancaster Pennsylvania opposing the Atlantic Sunrise Project. They are land protectors.

Appalachian Voices: involved in numerous campaigns to protect the air, water, land and communities of the Appalachian mountains..

Citizens to Protect the Ambridge Reservoir (CPAR): works to protect this pristine source of drinking water and prevent the construction of the Falcon Pipeline and other oil and gas operations related to the Shell petrochemical facility through the watershed.

Concerned Citizens of Lebanon County:  Our mission is to keep citizens informed about the Sunoco Pipeline Mariner East project and similar projects that may affect the health, safety, and welfare of those who live, work and recreate in Lebanon County.

Pipeline Safety Coalition: We are a national pipeline safety advocacy organization working in the public interest. Our Vision is a citizenry that is aware, informed, and engaged regarding fossil fuel pipeline safety throughout its entire life cycle: from wellhead to consumer and from planning, siting, and construction to abandonment and decommissioning.

RDA’s Keep in Wild: a grassroots group of dedicated citizens who have formed an alliance and welcome members with the widest possible concerns, interests and ideologies. Texans for Property Rights:  a community of property owners dedicated to protecting private property rights. In the 86th Texas Legislative Session, Texans for Property Rights is dedicated to supporting legislation that will protect the private property rights of Texans against abusive practices, particularly by private corporations who use the government-sponsored power of eminent domain. Texas Farm Bureau: We believe private property rights are worth protecting, water should be used wisely and government should be responsive and responsible. That’s why we advocate with our members in Austin and Washington.

Texas Wildlife Association: established in 1985 by a group of ranchers, wildlife managers, and hunters dedicated to the conservation, management, and enhancement of wildlife and wildlife habitat on private lands.  TWA is committed to representing private land stewards from across the state of Texas, while supporting efforts to uphold established private property rights of Texas landowners.

Texas Landowners for Eminent Domain Reform: It is the mission of Texas Landowners for Eminent Domain Reform (TxLEDReform.org) to educate officials and the general public, develop policy, and support legislation that will level the playing field to better protect private property rights.

Big Bend Conservation Alliance: BBCA has created several modules to allow landowners and the general public better understand easements, landowner rights, legal issues, economic, and business issues associated with easements.

Texas Public Interest Research Group (TexPIRG): an advocate for the public interest. We speak out for a healthier, safer world in which we’re freer to pursue our own individual well-being and the common good. Since 1970, state PIRGs have delivered results-oriented citizen activism.

Wild Virginia: work to protect Virginia’s wild lands and waters through advocacy, education, and influence. Along with our partners and alliances, we pressed on in the fight against fracked gas pipelines. WASHINGTON

Pipeline Safety Trust: promotes pipeline safety through education and advocacy, increased access to information, and partnerships with residents, safety advocates, government, and industry, resulting in safer communities and a healthier environment.

Coltura: We pursue state and local policies to end the use of gasoline. Our initial focus is on ensuring that all vehicles sold in California and Washington after 2030 are clean, zero emission vehicles. Phasing out gasoline and diesel vehicles in those states will blaze the path for other states and the entire country to transition off of gasoline.

Mon Valley Clean Air Coalition: a partnership consisting of local citizens, environmental groups, and civic organizations who share a common concern about local air quality. We work together to raise awareness of air quality issues and effect changes that will improve the air we breathe.

West Virginians for Property Rights: We are a group of individuals who want to protect our property rights and make sure the gas companies treat surface and mineral owners fairly!!

Ohio Valley Environmental Coalition: Formed in 1987 to stop a toxic waste dump/incinerator proposed for a low-income community near Huntington, WV. We won that campaign. By supporting organized voices and empowered communities, we’ve been winning environmental and social justice campaigns ever since

Summers County Residents Against the Pipeline: A group of Summers County, WV residents opposed to the Mountain Valley Pipeline and any other pipelines proposing to cross Summers County.

The West Virginia Rivers Coalition: Mission is to conserve and restore West Virginia’s exceptional rivers and streams. We believe that clean water is the foundation of life, and that all people should respect and be able to enjoy clean West Virginia rivers and streams.
